Managing Director - Investments

Tom is a Managing Director-Investments and Premier Advisor* with the Faley Eckerman Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. He started his career in 1999 with Ameriprise Financial and transitioned to Wells Fargo Advisors in June of 2016.

Tom has received the AAMS® (Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM) and CRPC® (Certified Retirement Planning CounselorSM) designations from the College for Financial Planning, as well as the CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™) designation. He has been voted three times to Seattle Magazine’s Five Star Wealth Manager list (2014, 2015, and 2017).**

Prior to the financial services industry, Tom was a Sergeant in the US Army 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment from 1994-1997, where he earned two army achievement medals and the national defense service ribbon. He joined the Minnesota National Guard in 1997 while attending the University of Minnesota-Carlson School of Management, where he received his BSB in Finance.

Tom serves on the board of the Seattle Make-A-Wish foundation and is a Legacy Advisor with Seattle Children's Hospital. He also leads his YMCA Adventure Guides group and coaches football for the Bellevue Boys and Girls Club.

Tom has been married since 2004 to his wife, Jen, and they have two amazing boys, Zachary and Cooper. In his free time, Tom enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, cycling, photography and learning guitar.

Credentialed as a registered investment adviser or a registered investment adviser representative; 2. Active as a credentialed professional in the financial services industry for a minimum of 5 years; 3. Favorable regulatory and complaint history review (unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through Five Star Professional’s consumer complaint process*); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients; 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9. Number of client households served; 10. Education and professional designations. Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or awarded. Once awarded, wealth managers may purchase additional profile ad space or promotional products.
